Proverbs 1

1:10 - "my son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them." - right off the bat in Proverbs, God challenges us to make sure our friends are good for us and to us! Friends can either bring us closer to God or drag us away from him (both if we let them). So choosing friends is a big deal. How do you go about deciding who your friends are?

Hey this is Lindsey J. I read Proverbs one today and I think I taught me that i need to, not just listen to wisedom, but to put it into practice and hold it in my heart so that it can be useful and effective in my life and to be a good example of Christ to my friends. :)

it's bayley. i think we should decide who your friendss are by seeing how christ-like they are. If they're not, then we'll most likely fall in the trap of Satan. On the other hand, these people are the ones who need God the most. So, I think we should be nice to them and maybe eventually teach them the gospel but we don't need to be best friends with them.

I read Proverbs 1 today and I think that it's like a warning. If you don't choose to follow the wisdom of the Bible, you'll ruin your life.
